Jordan Dwyer

Jordan Dwyer has been an outdoors enthusiast with a soul for the wild to match as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she was never more than a dash out the back door to any lake, river, or stream. Her love for fishing roots back to her earliest of childhood memories of growing up and fishing Lake Travis with her dad. At the age of 8, she was introduced to fly fishing, when her family started making annual trips up to Red River, New Mexico, and Colorado. Fishing from the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Arkansas, Rio Grande to Red River, Costilla Creek, Cimarron, and her favorite Valle Vidal; her love for fishing stuck, and she’s never looked back. Jordan now gets her fix in the Texas Hill Country mainly fishing the Guadalupe, San Marcos, and Blanco Rivers any chance she can get. “I love fishing the coast, the mountains, and the hill country any chance I can get. I look forward to expanding my horizons and meeting amazing new people along the way. I never flinch when a new opportunity presents itself and aim to take full advantage of any one that arises."

Lukas Ferrenburg

Lukas Ferrenburg grew up in Eugene, Oregon along the Willamette and Mckenzie River. Currently living in Northern California, he frequents the waters of the Sacramento, McCloud, Fall, and Pit rivers. Lukas works as a biologist helping conserve one of California’s last self-sustaining Chinook salmon populations. He is also an avid fly tier, photographer, and filmmaker. Lukas has no qualms about tossing a line to anything that swims, but prefers to toss dries to wild trout on small streams, or swinging intruders to steelhead on coastal rivers. “I’ve dedicated my life to becoming the best fly fisherman I can possibly be. Dig deep, visualize your dreams, and live free.”

I have been chasing fish in SW Missouri since I could walk. Small creek smallmouth fishing in the extreme southwest corner of Missouri is how I cut my fishing teeth, and I still regularly find myself lost on my local waters. I got my first fly rod for my 12th birthday, and my love of trout on the long rod was born. I truly love the diverse fishing opportunities in and around my area, from small stream smallmouth to huge tailwater trout. I started guiding on the White River below the Beaver Dam last year to share my passion with others.

Tyler Dykes

My name is Tyler Dykes and I have been fly fishing for over 15 years and tying for about as long.  I live near Kansas City, MISSOURI, and I'm a middle school science teacher when I'm not fishing.  I fish for largemouth, bluegill, carp, wipers/hybrid striped bass, white bass, and the occasional catfish on my "home waters".  I get to Bennett Spring and Roaring river when I can but by far, my favorite trout water is Lake Taneycomo and specifically the Trophy Area.  I also operate a blog/website called "The Show Me Fly Guy" and you can find it at showmeflyguy.blogspot.com .  I find an inner peace when I am fishing that is hard to put into words.  The worries and responsibilities of day to day life seem to fade away when I am on the water and it feels like a part of my soul is restored that our fast-paced society seems to chip away at.  To me, there is nothing better than hooking a trout take a dry fly on a stream, watching a farm pond bass take down a mouse fly, or having a wiper crush a big articulated streamer.  I am incredibly proud to be a part of the Woodard team and happy to support a Midwest rod company with deep roots in what we both call home.  Tight lines and fish by faith, not by sight!

Jon Link

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Jon's first passion in life is his family... a loving wife, a son, a daughter and two dogs.  His second passion in life is the outdoors... fishing, fly tying, hunting, hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, fishing and fishing.  He has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod!  On any given weekend, you will find him chasing trout on the Current River, chasing smallies on the Gasconade River or chasing largemouth bass on Kentucky Lake.  Over the years, Jon's fly fishing game has transitioned from dry fly addict, to streamer junkie, to his current obsession with Euro nymphing techniques.

I grew up in Western North Carolina exploring the Appalachian Mountains near Asheville. Fly fishing is a newfound passion I picked up in Colorado where I spent 3 years as a ski instructor, and since then I’ve spent more time on the water than not since I picked up my first fly rod. I now live in Bozeman, Montana with my wife and dog. I’m very grateful to be part of the Woodard Rod team and have the chance to fish some of the best trout water the country has to offer. I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon so if you’re ever in Big Sky Country look me up!

I'm a mechanical engineer currently based in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, but grew up in North West Arkansas where I gained my love for being in nature. My Wife, our daughter, and our dog are always out exploring the great outdoors!  I may not have as much experience on a fly rod, but I'm definitely cooler than these other guys.

Clayton Sansoucie

Hey my name is Clay Sansoucie and I'm currently a student at Missouri State.  I started fly fishing and tying my own flies when I was 10 years old.  I spend most of my time on Taneycomo but love chasing smallies on the fly as well.  It's my passion, and I hope to one day make a career out of it letting other people experience just how truly amazing it is.  Being apart of Woodard Rod Co. and working with Ben is just one step closer to that dream.  Fly fishing isn't just an old mans game, tight lines.

Ross Brannock

Ross grew up in Southeast Missouri, playing in small creeks and streams collecting bugs and any other critters he could find. Then he was introduced to fly fishing and got to put his love for creeks and their wildlife into a lifelong sport with a practical application of the knowledge. He loves to go the extra mile to find the hidden gems, and cool fish, and share the experiences with others. He spends most of his time in the Ozark Scenic Riverways chasing brown and rainbow trout, as well as smallmouth and panfish.

I have had a fly rod in my hand since I was 8 yrs old.  I grew up fishing for just trout, bass and the occasional bluegill in farm ponds.  I started tying flies in 1992.  Within the last 2 years I have started throwing large streamers for Musky and chasing carp on the fly.  Two years ago I competed in Plateau Fly Shops Carpapolza and finished 4th overall
